The snow melt patterns on Mounts Vavasour and Warre (on left) were quite fascinating.Andrew Nugara scopes out the ridge. Mount Smuts, The Tower, Mount Galatea and Birdwood are in the distanceThe spectacular Sharkfin/Talon Peak is now one of my favorite mountains.Another beauty, Mount Sir Douglas, had alot of competion in the summit panorama. This is Andrew just moments before we reached the summit (Lockwood Peak and the Royal Group above). The strata lines on Mount King Albert were mesmerizing. To its right is the mighty Joffre. This is the incredible view to the south. These tarns were a great way to complete the summit pano.I really liked the dominant red band on Mount Alcantara. Split Peak can be seen to its left. Some familiar Kananaskis peaks including Gusty, Fortress, and Birdwood in the foreground.Another view south with a surprise tarn only seen from the summit.Eon Mountain and Mount Assiniboine tower over Red Man Mountain. Here I am at the summit (photo by Andrew Nugara)A final look towards Sharkfin/Talon Peak before heading down.
