Star Creek Falls is the prettiest waterfall I have seen in the Crowsnest Pass.Riley rests on an interesting slab about 2/3 of the way up.I love the gnarled and twisted dead trees in this area. I am pretty sure this is a result of being bombarded by constant winds when they were living. Sentry and Tecumseh are in the background.Riley poses on the summit with Crowsnest Mountain dominating in the background. He seems to have the same drive as I do when it comes to making it to the top of an objective.Another view of the same dead tree this time with Turtle Mountain and Hillcrest Mountain. There is a higher peak on the ridge, but we figured the views would not be as good from it.Another look at the amazing Crowsnest Mountain. I wish this area had more protection to stop some of the logging at least in the core area. The cool slab again. This was some great rock to scramble up.This was Riley's first time crossing a cold mountain stream barefoot. He did really well.We both ended up getting Ticks on us this trip. Riley's didn't make an appearance until we were in the pizza shop in Blairemore.I wanted to have one last look at Crowsnest Mountain before we drove home. This is one of my favorite angles not too far from the BC border.
