This was a quick after work trip. Compression Ridge is in the distance.

I loved the giant thunderhead in the distance beyond Moose Mountain

This was my favorite view of the trip and was enhanced by the late day lighting. Compression Ridge is right of center with Mount Howard is to its right.

The ridge to the north looked inviting, but I was not up for it on this particular day. Black Rock Mountain is in the extreme distance.

This cluster of White Mountain Avens brightened up the barren ridge.

I have been up the peak on the left of this shot and even though it is unnamed it has a superior summit panorama. The Tiara is in the center of this shot.

I liked the orange streak in this outlier of Compression Ridge. Powderface Ridge is on the left with Forgetmenot Ridge to its right.

Mount Bryant is one of the highest in the area and somewhere I would like to check out some day.

One last look at the stunning Compression Ridge.
