This is the moodiest conditions I have seen on any trip in the Crowsnest Pass area.Riley poses on the south summit of McGillivray Ridge. Wedge Mountain is right behind him with Tecumseh beyond on the left and Crowsnest dominating on the rightMa Butte is still on my "To Do" list. It should have one of the best summit panoramas in the area.Amy, Sharon, and Riley take cover from the fierce winds in the saddle between McGillivray's south end and the ridge leading to the true summit. Crowsnest Mountain and Seven Sisters are behind them. The strong winds made for crazy skies and incredible lighting such as in this view of Seven Sisters.Riley heads back down into the forest. Turtle Mountain can be seen on the left.Sharon and Amy pause on the way down with Centre Peak looming above them. Here is a panorama of Crowsnest and Seven Sisters which illustrates their similar strata.
